Please take note of the following General Conditions before buying your tickets; this information can help you in the purchasing process. Remember, once you make a purchase, no changes or refunds are allowed.
General Conditions regarding SONY ERICSSON CHAMPIONSHIPS 2007 TICKET SALES (November, 6th -11th)*
*The following General Conditions are subject to change. We therefore strongly recommend updating and contrasting the information through the tournament web page.
Section 1: Information on tournament sessions
Competition days will consist of a single session per day. A ticket will allow the holder to see all of the matches played during the corresponding session. All the matches will be played in the Madrid Arena Stadium.
A ticket will allow the holder access to the Madrid Arena Stadium and Crystal Pavilion. Once this person has left the site, he/she will not be allowed to re-enter (i.e. no pass outs)
SEASON TICKETS: This type of ticket is valid for all sessions. From the 2007 Edition onwards, the season ticket will consist of six (6) independent tickets, one (1) each day. Once the season ticket holder has left the site, he/she will not be allowed to re-enter (i.e. no pass outs).
Section 2: Sales channels and means of payment
The following are the Ticket Sales Channels for the Sony Ericsson Championships 2007:
SONY ERICSSON CHAMPIONSHIPS OFFICES, (located at the Casa de Campo Fair Grounds (Recinto Ferial), next to the Pabellón de Cristal/Crystal Pavilion) from 9:00h to 14:00h and from 15:00h to 18:00, Monday through Thursday and from 9:00h to 14:00h on Fridays, (with the exception of holidays). Timetable is subject to change as the tournament nears (changes will be listed on the Web site). Means of Payment: cash and credit / debit card.
Access:
Metro: Lago (line 10) or Alto de Extremadura (line 6).
Buses: Lines 31, 33, 36, 39 and 65 (stops located on Paseo de Extremadura, approximately 100 metres from the main entrance to the Fair Grounds).
Access by Car: Through the entrance to the Recintos Feriales (Fair Grounds) of the Casa de Campo from Avenida de Portugal. For reasons beyond the Organisation's control, access to the Fair Grounds may be subject to change.
The organizers recommend using public transport to reach the site where the event is to be held as parking spaces cannot be guaranteed.

BOX OFFICE, sales will begin on November 6, 2007, and, for any particular session, will continue until approximately one hour before the end of that session, or until all tickets for the session have been sold. The ticket booths will also open every day during the tournament, from 9:00h to 22:00h. The Box Office schedule is subject to change as the tournament nears (changes will be listed on the Website).
Tickets should be purchased only at the tournament Organisation's official, authorised sales points. The Organisation of the tournament will not be responsible for tickets acquired outside these authorised ticket channels.
Section 3: Discounts and special prices:
A 10% discount of the full price will be applied in single tickets in the following cases:
- Students (university student card must be shown).
- Over 65 years of age (passport or other form of ID must be shown).
- Minors under 12 years of age (passport or other form of ID must be shown)
- Holders of a Spanish Tennis Federation membership (Spanish Tennis Federation card must be shown)
These discounts will be applied only and exclusively at the Sony Ericsson Championships and the Box Offices (only during the purchase process), and the corresponding document of proof will be required at the moment of the purchase. Therefore, no discounts will be available through internet sales.
In no case discounts will be applied once the purchase has finished, even if the document required is shown at the time of collecting tickets.
Discounts are not cumulative.
In the case of weekly season tickets, there is a 10% extra discount only for Spanish Tennis Federation members.
Tickets for DISABLED PERSONS:
The tickets for disabled persons are exclusively meant for wheelchair users (these persons will not occupy a seat in the Madrid Arena and, for that reason, tickets will have reduced prices). ATTENTION Row 1: As a courtesy offered by the Organisation, some of the first row category 1 seats will be sold as category 2, and some of the first row category 2 seats will be sold as category 3.
Section 4: Pickup of tickets purchased over the phone or Internet
Tickets purchased over the Internet can be picked up at the offices of the Sony Ericsson Championships until November 5, 2007 and in the Box Office from November 6, 2007.
Tickets purchased by phone must be collected at Sony Ericsson Championships offices before November 1 in case of credit or debit card payment. If the buyer wants to collect tickets after November 1 or in the Box Office during the tournament, the payment must be done by money transfer.
Please be aware. No changes or refunds are allowed.
In order to collect tickets, either at the offices of the Sony Ericsson Championships or at the Box Office, it is necessary that the buyer show his/her National Identity Document (DNI) or Passport, in addition to the reference number provided by the Sony Ericsson Championships at the time of purchase.
In the case that the buyer is not the person who will collect the tickets, the person authorised to do so will be required to present a signed authorisation statement from the buyer as well as the purchase reference and a photocopy of the National Identity Document (DNI) or Passport of the buyer. Important: No tickets will be given unless the purchaser passport / Identity card (or photocopy) has been shown.
In order to speed up the pick up process during the tournament, the Organisation recommends coming to the tournament site a minimum of one hour before the session starts.
Section 5: Programme changes
Purchase of a ticket for the Sony Ericsson Championships 2007 is firm and will be considered final as soon as payment has been made effective. No changes or returns will be accepted.
Duplicate copies of tickets will not be issued under any circumstances. The organisation is not responsible for possible loss or destruction of tickets.
The organisation reserves the right to modify scheduling and programming. Any changes will be announced once the WTA Tour supervisor has made the information public.
If the beginning of a session is delayed, the ticket holder will have no right to another ticket nor to the return of the money for the ticket purchased.
Section 6: Facilities
Access to the facilities will be granted only to those in possession of a valid ticket. Once this person has left the site, he/she will not be allowed to re-enter.
Children under 3 years of age do not need a ticket as long as they do not occupy a seat.
Ticket holders must be aware of and respect all of the security standards stipulated by the Organisation when accessing the facilities and in order to remain on the grounds.
Regarding security, all persons entering the grounds must cooperate with security personnel or any other legally authorised person by presenting a valid ticket, accepting an inspection of their belongings, search and confiscation of any unauthorised object(s). They must obey the instructions and suggestions of authorised personnel at all times.
All persons attending the Sony Ericsson Championships event recognise and accept that their movement within the grounds or in the areas adjacent to the grounds is their responsibility, and they agree to exempt the organisation, as well as any other relevant entity, from all responsibility regarding any risk, danger or loss, including injury or damage to persons or property, loss of property and any other incident derived from attendance at this tournament.
Section 7: Prohibitions and Limitations
It is strictly prohibited to bring in and show signs, symbols, emblems or slogans that, due to their content or to the circumstances in which they are shown or used could be considered as an act to incite, encourage or lead to violent, xenophobic, racist or terrorist behaviour or as an act to demonstrate a poor sportsmanlike attitude towards the participants.
It is strictly prohibited to bring in or have, activate or throw within the grounds or courts on which the competitions are to be held or are in progress, of any type of fire arms or any object that could produce similar effects, as well as sparklers, fire-crackers, explosives or, in general, inflammable, smoke-producing, or corrosive products. Entry to the grounds will not be allowed to those persons who try to bring these or similar objects with them.
It is strictly prohibited to bring into or sell, consume or have inside the grounds any type of alcoholic beverages or mind-altering substances, psychotropic drugs, stimulants or similar products.
Cans and/or bottles cannot be taken into the site.
Food and drinks are not allowed on site.
Smoking is prohibited on site.
Ticket holders who have been sanctioned with a prohibition from entering any sports grounds will not be allowed to enter these grounds until the sanction has been removed.
Promotions using tickets of the Sony Ericsson Championships are only allowed to sponsors or partners, and only with pre approval from the Organisation.
Section 8: Audiovisual Register
All persons attending the tournament recognise that this is a public act, and they freely and willingly accept that their voices, images and faces may appear on televised or radio broadcasts, either live or recorded, on video, in photographs and in any other media or audiovisual support, either present or future.
Section 9: Failure to comply with these general conditions
Any ticket holders who, due to their conduct or the way in which they acquired their tickets, do not comply with the GENERAL CONDITIONS described in this document will be denied access to the grounds or will be expelled from these grounds, with no right to reimbursement.
Section 10: Information and Personal Data
